Our academy will be hosting our 3rd inhouse tournament on May 15th, 2022. Registrations for this event are now open. This event will be for Adults and Kids,. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site. More information to come.
Agenda:
8:30am - Mats open for warmup.
9:00am - Opening announcements.
9:15am - Matches will begin (Order of White to Black belts)
2:00pm - Closing Announcements / Awards & Recognition
Below are a few key items to go over in order to better prepare for this event.
This tournament will be a Gi Only tournament. Wear a comfortable Gi that is free of rips or tears, and fits adequately. Don't forget your belts either!
In order to assure that everyone has a match, some of the participants will have more than one match. Be prepared for this occasion.
Matches will be announced the day of the tournament.
Matches will start promptly at 9:15AM. Make sure to be present, dressed, warmed up, ready and checked in at least 15 minutes before the start of the tournament.
Matches will be submission only. There will be no advantages or points. No submission at the end of the timer will result in a DRAW.
Matches will be 6 minutes long. Be ready for your match at the time and order you are assigned on the day of the tournament.

It is ok and encouraged to invite friends and family to come watch your match.
This is an in-house event. The main focus of this tournament is to have fun, educate and test the waters when it comes to competitions.
Most importantly, no submission is worth risking a serious injury for. We want to make sure everyone is whole and injury-free by the end of the event, so tap if you have to. Mouth guards are welcome too!
